Also this games features two young head coaches that have taken very different paths on getting their teams to a BCS Bowl game. These two teams offenses are very similar with SPEED being the only word to describe these two offenses. The time off might help this Tiger team more than any other bowl team, getting healthy and two weeks of extra practice should have this young team back on track. Clemson defense is no where near as talented as its offense. This season the defense gave up 26.2 pts per game and against a powerful offense of WVU they will be really up against it.  

Mountaineer nation are so excited to be back in a BCS game and they head south to Miam to the 2012 Orange Bowl. Offensively WVU was maybe the most up and down team of any in college football. The two weeks of practice and a full season under this new system will really help this explosive group of skilled players. Most of the year the pass game carried the offense but we saw glimpses of an improved running attack in the last 3 games and we look for that to be even better in the bowl game. Defensively the Mountaineers were downright terrible in over half of the games just allowing teams to physically manhandle them. This defense is so quick but really lack the size to compete with physical running teams. Lucky for this WVU defense Clemson prefers to play a finesse style and that really should play into WVU's defenses strength.
