This Crimson defense is a top 5 defense and its ability to completely shut teams down usually is the key to their victories. Alabama offense has been able to cover up its average passing game all season long with one of the best running games in the country. Only loss this year for Alabama was squarely on the special teams unit which missed 3 Field Goals including one in the Overtime period.  The Tide must sure up their terrible kicking game if they want to flip the earlier outcome. 

The Tigers of LSU go into the BCS game undfeated and if they win it will be no doubt due to this great defense. LSU is just as dominant as Alabama but get it done in different ways. Tigers defense is the most agressive defense maybe we have ever seen taking more risks and allowing their unbelievable athleticsm to save them.  Coach Miles is always a big gambler not only on defense but on offense as well. Look for this offense of LSU to have in several trick plays that should create some long scores. Special teams for LSU is the best unit in football so don't go to the refrigerator until the commercials start.

Only saving grace for Bama is Saban is the better coach but Les Miles can't even screw this one up.
