Superbowl XLVI will feature more options for Sports bettors than ever before, but one of our favorite wagers is always betting on the Most Valuable Player. Oddsmakers work long and hard to find betting game props for each team and even many players. Tom Brady (+300): Quarterbacks have won the MVP award in 24 of 45 games played. If the Patriots win you would have to assume that the pass happy Patriots light it up thru the air. Thus far in the playoffs Brady has 7 Touchdowns and offense average nearly 35 pts per game. Big worry for Brady backers is the pass rush of Giants who dominated the last 4 weeks of season and playoffs thus far. Not much betting value we will take a pass at this price.

Eli Manning (+350): Manning has taken a quantum leap this year and now is being considered in the Elite Quarterbacks in the NFL. Lucky for Eli he will be facing off against one of the worst pass defenses ever to play in Superbowl. Hard to imagine that Eli doesn't put up 350 yards against this terrible defense and if they win he would be nearly a lock for his 2nd MVP trophy. Not great value for us and since we have Patriots winning we are passing here.

Rob Gronkowski (+800): Maybe the best year ever by a Tight End could finish with a huge cherry on top if he was the MVP of Superbowl XLVI. He has been on fire in playoffs with 15 catches for 230 yard and three Touchdowns. An ankle injury in the Ravens game makes us worry about putting money on him for the MVP. If healthy we love the betting value here but until get more injury its hard to say. 

Victor Cruz (+900): Not sure where the Giants would be without Cruz as he came from nowhere this season. Cruz was in top 10 in nearly every recieving category this year and made the Giants recieving trio tops in NFL in our minds. With terrible pass defense of Patriots you would have to have Cruz going for 10 catches and at least 100 yards which will have him in conversation for MVP is Giants win. Good betting value but have to pass here. 

Jason Pierre-Paul (+1800): Defensive lineman has not won the Superbowl MVP since Richard Dent in Superbowl XX. This Giants defensive line is elite and their leader this season has been Pierre-Paul, with him we expect big plays and he could be the difference for the Giants. Might be the best value if the Giants win this longshot could cash.

Gronkowski +800 is our pick for Superbowl XLVI MVP as his super season continues in the biggest game of them all. Brady looks for his Tight Ends more than ever and think the Giants have no answer for the best player of New England. Patriots win late with Gronk Touchdown and he pulls in his first MVP trophy.
