The 2011 college football season has ended and now we look ahead to bowl season. Rose Bowl 2012 maybe has the best matchup, Oregon and Wisconsin have had great seasons and have maybe the two best offenses in College Football. The line has opened at Oregon -6.5 and the total set at 72. 

Oregon Ducks won the 2011 Pac 12 Championship with same formula as last year, fast paced explosive offense and a defense that lives on turnovers. The problem with the Rose Bowl 2012 is that Oregon is not good off long layoffs, losing 5 of 6 straight up when they have more than 2 weeks to prepare. In all of those losses their offense did not score more than 28 pts and did not cover in any of the losses. Hard to imagine this defense could win them a low scoring game as they are built to play with the lead. 

Wisconsin Badgers were early season darlings of the media but since then have had some tough road losses. On the road the Badgers had major problems going 2-2 straight up and 0-4 ATS. How does a team struggle so much on the road is the question that any Wisconsin bettor will have to get over. Russell Wilson and Monte Ball both have had record breaking years for the Badgers but can they compete outside of an average Big 10.

-Over is 30-12-2 in ORE last 44 games as a favorites

-Over is 33-16-2 in ORE last 51 games overall.

Over 72: A ton of stats that you can point to in picking this game but to me it all points to one easy winner and thats the over. ORE can't stop the physical run game of the Badgers and ORE will be able to spread out the slow Badgers and score at will. Offenses have their way as this one is played in the 40's.
